Co-Curricular Activities

As soon as the student gets admission in the school, he/she is made the member of a house to which he/she belongs for rest of his/her school career. The house captain constantly monitors the students progress, well being and behavior.

The students are grouped into four houses, GNADHI HOUSE, NEHRU HOUSE, BOSE HOUSE and TAGORE HOUSE.

GANDHI HOUSE (Truth Succeeds)

The GANDHI HOUSE is named after Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the Nation and embodies the values he practiced throughout his life that is peace, no-violence and truth.

BOSE HOUSE (Unity is Strength)

The BOUSE HOUSE is named after Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, the architect of Indian National Army and an inspiration to all the freedom fighters of our country.

The motto of the house is “Unity is Strength”.

TAGORE HOUSE (Courage is Power)

And the TAGORE HOUSE is named after GURU Dev Ravindra nath tagore. A man of exceptional courage and inspiration to the young generation.

The motto of the House is ‘Faith is the bird that feels the light when the dawn is still dark.’

NEHRU HOUSE (make ourselves strong)

In NEHRU HOUSE had a great fascination for wandering ascetics and monks . He was also an expert in games and naughty things. Even in his young age he showed remarkable leadership qualities.

The Motto of the house is “Failure comes only when we forget our ideals and objectives and principals.”

It is through visual and performing Arts that the power of self-exception emanates whereas it is through games and sports that the power of self discipline and strength emanates and therefore the school gives special importance to the healthy growth of a child by encouraging a wide range of cultural and physical activities for various age groups. The students are constantly encouraged to take part in various in school and inter-school competitions and social activities.

Various games and sports like Football, Cricket, Volleyball, Badminton, Cycling and different divisions of Athletics, yoga, aerobic, lazium, etc are performed dexterously by the student and the people of District are a witness to this fact on the Annual Athletic Meets of the school.
